What is Nature9? A Journey of Growth Across Lifetimes
An introduction to the Nature9 philosophy — the idea that life is a continuous journey across many lifetimes, and that every experience today is shaping the journey ahead.
Most of us move through life chasing the next milestone — the next promotion, the next purchase, the next achievement — without ever stepping back to ask a bigger question: what is all of this actually for? Nature9 begins with that question, and with an answer that reframes everything else: life is not a single chapter. It is part of a much longer story that stretches across many lifetimes.
A Bigger Picture Than One Lifetime
According to the Nature9 philosophy, the circumstances we experience today are shaped by actions, choices, and karmas carried forward from before — and the thoughts, actions, and intentions we create today are, in turn, shaping the experiences that lie ahead. Life is not random. It is a continuous story of growth, and every situation we face is a page in that story.
This is not a philosophy of fatalism. It does not say 'nothing you do matters.' It says the opposite: everything you do matters, because it carries forward. Once you accept that today's actions ripple outward — into next year, into the next phase of life, and perhaps beyond — every decision gains a new kind of weight and a new kind of freedom.
From 'Why Me?' to 'What Is This Teaching Me?'
The most practical shift Nature9 offers is a change in the question we ask when life gets hard. Instead of asking 'why is this happening to me?' — a question with no satisfying answer and no forward motion — Nature9 asks us to try: 'what is life trying to teach me through this?' The first question keeps us stuck. The second moves us forward.
The purpose of life is not merely to survive, earn money, build a career, or accumulate possessions. These are important, but they are not the complete picture.
The Nine Points, In Brief
Nature9 organises this philosophy into nine practical points — Just Thank, Use Buddhi, Divide Into Two, Zero Fear, Nil Comparison, Positive Approach, Surrender Bhaav, Be Receptive, and Feel Happy. Each one addresses a different part of how we relate to our own life: gratitude, wisdom, ethics, courage, comparison, mindset, effort, learning, and joy. Together, they form a working framework for living consciously rather than reactively.
Over the coming articles on this blog, we'll take each of these nine points in turn, along with practical guidance for applying them to everyday situations — at work, at home, during hard times, and in our relationships. This first article is simply the doorway: an invitation to consider that your life today is bigger than it looks, and that every experience in it is worth paying attention to.
